SharePoint eats PerformancePoint
Microsoft has announced that PerformancePoint will be eaten by SharePoint and SQL Server. PerformancePoint will be discontinued as a stand-alone product and features like the scorecard’ing, KPI and graphing will be integrated into SharePoint. Microsofts BI strategy appears to focus on SharePoint, Excel and SQL Server. More info will probably be available within a few days…
